This started at a high point for me but as I scrolled through the pictures I became less and less excited by the images.

Stanley No. 105 ... and I have one at home. Belonged to my father.

I am pretty sure that “hook and ladder” is not the correct nomenclature for that fire truck. “Ladder truck,” maybe. Fire fighters are very funny about what an apparatus is to be called. What I grew up calling a “pumper” is an engine . What I grew up calling a “hook and ladder” is called a truck . (FWIW, I think they’re all ugly...)
Hey: how can I get my engine cover refurbished in my van? Also, I did some cleaning this weekend. All on the interior, but I also bought sand to begin sand blasting some other parts. The clean-up you encourage will be showing up.
In other news, perhaps it’s the politics and the killing and the POTUS, but I’m feeling pretty turned off toward Oppo right now. Two weeks ago I got outright bullied by one of the mods, and none of the rest I’ve approached about it want to acknowledge it. It’s crappy and it strikes at the heart of what I see Oppo standing for. I’ve made a few friends here, and I’d be happy enough, for now, to just communicate via email. But maybe it’s just the times.
